As the wise poet ChatGPT once put it...
Your presence we treasure, with love we are blessed,
for our wedding day, we have a small request.
In lieu of presents, if you feel inclined,
A monetary gift would truly be kind.
Beautifully said, you plagiarizing parlour trick.
Kelly-Ann and Derek are thrilled to be finally celebrating their wedding with all of you soon! Your presence on this special day is truly the greatest gift they could ask for. If you are inclined to give a gift however, they kindly request monetary gifts in lieu of traditional presents.

The Weekend
beyond the ceremony & reception
Welcome BBQ & Bonfire
For those who come up to Bracebridge on the Friday, Kelly-Ann & Derek will be hosting a casual barbeque and bonfire at Whispering Pines Campground across from Santa's Village. It's a chance to catch-up over drinks and smores and get to know some of the friend's and family on the other side of the wedding party.
Santa's Village Theme Park
As part of the weekend festivities, Kelly-Ann and Derek are excited to provide free passes to Santa's Village Theme Park (on the same site as the ceremony). With rides and attractions primarily targeting children, this is a great daytime, pre-ceremony activity for families attending the wedding.
Other activities to make a weekend out of your trip include...
Enjoy the Water
A ten to fifteen minute drive from all three accommodation sites, Kirby Beach on Lake Muskoka is rated the best public beach in Bracebridge. Ten minutes in the opposite direction sits High Falls Waterpark, where you can relax on the beach, play some volleyball, or take a kayak out to the waterfalls. If the weather is trending more fall than summer, those staying at the Quality Inn can enjoy the indoor pool.
Hit up a Brewery
Just outside of town is the famed Muskoka Brewery's tap room, or stay in town and hit up either the Bracebridge Barrelhouse by Lake of Bays Brewing or Katalyst Brewing Company, or enjoy a good meal at The Griffin Gastropub.
Take in Nature
Starting at the Whispering Pines Campground, Porcupine Ridge is a 5.6km moderately difficult trail that should take ~1hr : 25min to hike. Other nearby hikes include South Nose Hill Trail (5.6km), the Bert Cross Family Nature Preserve Trail (3.7km), and the Wilson Falls Trail (0.5km). If you are staying in town, enjoy the Bracebridge Falls Walk (1.9km).
Grab a Bite to Eat
Looking for a good meal in Bracebridge? The Old Station Restaurant has turned a former service station into a highly rated spot to enjoy a meal amidst some Canadiana log cabin charm. Across town, Wabora is a Japanese restaurant with sushi bar and Teppanyaki tables. Riverwalk Restaurant serves Mediterranean inspired fare while offering a view of Bracebridge Falls from every window, and El Pueblito is the top-rated Mexican restaurant in Muskoka. Just remember to save room for Chef Jafe's meal at the reception!
Hit the Links
The Muskoka Highlands Golf Links and the South Muskoka Curling and Golf Club are minutes from the in-town accommodations while Bracebridge Golf Club and Driving Range is a short drive away. Or if mini golf is more your speed, head over to Mister Rudolph's course at Santa's Village or walk down the street from the Quality Inn to the Northern Escapades Mini Golf.
Set Sail
Docked along side the Quality Inn, take a three hour cruise on the Muskoka Gaga through the lakes known as "Millionaires Row" for their luxury cottages, or if you want to go even bigger, head to nearby Port Carling and hop aboard the cruise ship Lady Rosseau and float down "Billionaires Row" of cottages owned by the Hollywood elite and tech industry founders.
Stay Indoors
If you are in need of indoor activities, the Norwood Theatre has 2 pm Friday and Saturday movie matinees, Climb Muskoka's indoor rock climbing can let you get a workout in regardless of the weather, and Muskoka Riverside Bowl offers lanes and pool tables.
